“100 Ideas for Primary Teachers: Poetry” – webinar

This exclusive online CPD for Bookmark partner schools, delivered in partnership with Bloomsbury Education, is led by the authors of 100 Ideas for Primary Teachers: Poetry. 

This practical online session is designed to help primary teachers feel confident, supported and inspired when teaching poetry. Drawing on their book and own teaching experience, Frankie O’Reilly and Adam Bushnell will share simple, classroom‑ready ideas that help children enjoy poetry without pressure or over‑analysis.

• Ways to teach poetry without needing to be a poet
• Simple approaches for introducing poetry at any age
• Inclusive ideas for reluctant readers, EAL pupils and SEND learners
• Reassurance that poetry belongs naturally within reading for pleasure
